Iftar Experience at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque with an Emirati Guide

This unique Ramadan experience allows guests to witness and participate in one of the most meaningful traditions of the Holy Month:  Iftar at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.

Guests will:

• Observe how thousands of Iftar meals are generously distributed daily to the public and those in need

• Participate alongside volunteers in serving Iftar, experiencing the true spirit of giving and community

• Break their fast at the mosque with traditional Emirati dishes and Ramadan desserts

• Enjoy a guided cultural tour inside the mosque during sunset hours

• Learn about the significance of Ramadan, fasting, charity, and Islamic traditions directly from an Emirati guide

The experience offers an atmosphere of unity, spirituality, and reflection. On rare occasions during Ramadan, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan personally joins the public for Iftar at the mosque. While this cannot be guaranteed, guests may have the exceptional opportunity to witness this meaningful moment.
